My 2008 U.S Presidential preferences..

Since 3 of my Ohioan friends have posted their 2008 Presidential Election poll results in the past week, I felt I should join in and do likewise, even though we differ a great deal. The poll doesn’t include independent candidates, and often made me choose between two bad alternatives. A couple of questions I had to leave because I didn’t understand, or hadn’t heard of the groups mentioned. It is no surprise that Dennis Kucinich topped my list once again. I read his webpage a few years ago and agreed with nearly everything he said. He hasn’t got a hope in hell. To do the 17 question poll, go here president.gif
Since I’m in the mood for polls, I did another one about my attitude to my work. The result is not very flattering. I wonder what a mandarin is? For the record, I did not do this test from the workplace in which I have spent the past 14 years. Result:

I’m a Lifer!

To you, a job is what pays the bills. You put in your hours, follow the rules, and then go home. Occasionally, you consider quitting, but then you think of how bad the job market is and you reconsider. Whatever happiness you get, you get from your life outside the workplace. Relationships, family, hobbies, and outside creative pursuits are what really matter to you. You’re probably taking this test at work because you don’t have anything better to do.

Talent: 41%
Lifer: 59%
Mandarin: 56%
