Chorizema Cordatum, the new dope?

Tonight, after the storms and big raindrops, I decided to do some plant pruning in the front yard. Probably the strong Polish Okocim Mocne beer I bought at Preston market had something to do with it, but nevertheless, I was out there. After two days of heat, people were out on the streets, walking about and feeling cool for once. So, I’m daring to chop out the branches I’d never had the time or inclination to remove whilst sober, and a guy walks past, stops and says “Mate, are you growing a huge dope crop out back or what?”. I was a bit stunned, and had paused when he said again “Me and my mates have been saying for ages that there’s an incredible reek of marijuana coming from this place, and I always wanted to ask you about it”. I made gestures towards all the native plants around me; I told him that I hadn’t smoked the good stuff for years now – I’m too old for that shit – I just drink now. I’m not sure he believed me 100%. He walked on up the street. So, I continued chopping away at the undergrowth, and after awhile I got an incredible waft of the sweet rich scent of Chorizema Chordatum leaf, and I realised that’s what it was. So similar. It’s a great smell and I’d never noticed it before. And it’s a native! chorizema.jpg
Please don’t break into my yard for this!
